Don’t Forget to Add Content Marketing in Your Strategy
At the core, a brand is a promise to the user. This sounds simple enough, but the execution is something that many startups struggle with.
Content marketing when building brand awareness is often overlooked. We’re living in an era where over 200 million people now use ad blockers – meaning that only buying your way into their hearts isn’t enough anymore.
By most accounts, businesses that are leaders regarding content marketing experience much more traffic than those who aren’t. Content marketing is a powerful way to create higher levels of engagement. It also costs less than most traditional outbound marketing channels – all of which blends together to create a perfect storm you’d be crazy to ignore for your startup.
Before you start with writing and promotional activities, you need to understand the behavior, likes, preferences, and problems of your audience. Only then can you start delivering blog, posts, videos, and other types of content that would get their attention.
The creation of content has a goal to bring more potential users towards your app. You can do that by promoting the publications via social media, but that won’t be enough. When keywords are being used in the wrong way, they make the content seem artificial.
Doing it right is hard, and it takes way more time to see results than we’re used to. You must create content that’s useful, clickable and shareable.
